PANGEA – 15 X 24” framed canvas, originally $425, on sale for $245
I took this photo in 2015 at Cape Chignecto, Nova Scotia, on the Bay of Fundy. In addition to boasting some of the world’s highest tides, these 400-million-year-old rocks were once part of the supercontinent called Pangea. When the continents separated half of them ended up in Africa and the other half in N.S. The shoreline was full of rocks in this vibrant red colour, many of them over 80 feet high; all were smooth and soft edged from millions of years of water and wind erosion. It felt like I was walking in a land of ancient giants.
