My photography arises out of a deep reverence for nature. I love textures, the play of shadows and light, moving water, still reflections, beautiful endings, and tender beginnings. Walking in nature with my camera is a spiritual practice that helps me move out of my mind and into the present moment. It begins with letting go of my thoughts, then descending into the body, and finally, becoming part of the symphony of ever-changing sounds, smells, and sights. I allow my attention to be captured by the unexpected and make space for nature to reveal herself to me. The experience is pure joy, deep gratitude, and a reminder of the unrepeatable, ever-changing uniqueness of each moment.
