Reenie Marx

For two winters I lived in south Florida beside large bodies of water that were home to beautiful banyan and palm trees, wild orchids and a huge variety of geese and ducks. I was a privileged visitor to their world and I was continually amazed and grateful to be able to witness their life cycles. I was humbled by the knowledge that they had been there long before I arrived, and would hopefully be there long after. On my morning and evening walks I immersed myself in their world and became part of it, how ever briefly. It nourished my soul and brought an energetic vitality back to my body.  If these photos convey even a sliver of that beauty and love for such wild places, I will have done my small part to protect them.
